Explore the Issyk-Kul Highlands
Issyk-Kul isn’t just a lake — it’s a gateway to highland adventure, quiet canyons, and nomadic rhythm.
Begin in Bishkek, then ride deep into the heart of Kyrgyz nature. First stop — Ala-Archa National Park, where sharp peaks and glacier rivers set the mood for the journey ahead. Then it’s off to Balykchy, the western gateway to the lake.
Your horseback adventure begins in Barskoon Gorge and Jeti-Ögüz — dramatic red rock valleys and alpine meadows where herders still live in yurts. Ride across rivers, under pine forests, and sleep under the stars.
In Karakol, take a cultural pause: visit colorful mosques, wooden churches, and local cafés. Then ride again — to Jailoo.
This isn’t just a trip. It’s the rhythm of hooves, crackling campfires, and the deep quiet of Kyrgyz mountain life.

From Ancient Cities to Untouched Nature
Explore the places you’ll visit on your trip: step into Osh, one of the oldest cities in Central Asia and a true Silk Road gem; venture into Kara-Koi, a remote mountain valley where jagged peaks meet alpine meadows; discover Sary-Chelek, a hidden biosphere reserve with emerald lakes and ancient forests; and walk through history in Uzgen, where medieval mausoleums whisper tales of the past.

An Adventure You’ll Remember
for a Lifetime
Northeast Kyrgyzstan is where turquoise lakes, red rock canyons, and high-mountain jailoos come together in a land made for riding. This horseback tour leads you through three unforgettable landscapes:
Jeti-Ögüz — Ride beneath the fiery cliffs of “Seven Bulls” and the “Broken Heart.” Here, forests and legends intertwine in a lush alpine valley.
Barskoon Gorge — A dramatic canyon of waterfalls, glacial rivers, and pine-covered slopes once visited by Soviet cosmonauts.
Highland Jailoo — Endless pastures above the tree line, where the only sounds are horse hooves and wind in the grass. Nomads still live here, and you’ll share their pace.
Trust us with the details, so you can focus on the magic of your trip. We’ll design a personalized program that fits your wishes — everything planned, right down to the smallest detail.

Kyrgyzstan, once part of the Soviet Union, is in Central Asia. It’s a country surrounded by land, known for its stunning landscapes, including tall mountains and beautiful alpine lakes. Most of Kyrgyzstan is covered by mountains, especially the Tian Shan range, which is in the central area. This makes it an amazing place for activities like hiking, climbing, and enjoying nature. Although Kyrgyzstan doesn’t have access to the sea, Lake Issyk-Kul’s beaches are great for a beach holiday. The country has a dry climate, with hot summers in the cities where temperatures average about 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit). This weather makes it perfect to cool off by swimming or heading to the mountains. In winter, the temperature drops to around freezing, ideal for skiing and other winter activities.
